MU commences limited face-to-face classes for 3rd Quarter A.Y. 2021-2022

With the approval from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and City of Manila government, Mapúa University (MU) recently held limited face-to-face classes for select engineering laboratory courses last February 28.

The week-long celebration aimed to promote camaraderie and showcase the skills of the University’s student organizations.

MU gears up for limited face-to-face classes for 2nd Quarter A.Y. 2021-2022

Following the approval to hold limited face-to-face classes of up to 50 percent capacity in all degree programs in areas under Alert Level 2 including Metro Manila, Mapúa University (MU) is currently seeking approval from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to deliver some engineering laboratory courses in limited face-to-face mode for the 2nd Quarter A.Y. 2021-2022.

Cardinal Cyberspace: MU celebrates FroSHS Week 2021

MU to offer two learning modes for A.Y. 2021 –2022

Last April 26, moving forward amidst the new normal, Mapúa University (MU) announced that the learning delivery will remain fully online for the first term and first semester for both college and Senior High School (SHS) students, respectively, for A.Y. 2021 – 2022.

With the theme “Catalyzing Social Change Through Service and Innovation,” Mapúa University (MU) celebrated its fourth year as a university last May 4 via Facebook Live. The day-long program aimed to reinforce and stimulate MU’s mission of engagement in research, development, and innovation towards nation-building.

While adjusting to the new normal, the Mapúa Council of Organizations (COO) held the annual Organizations’ Week with the theme “AMONG US: Advancing the Mapúa Organizations’ Nifty Guide for University Success” through different online platforms last December 1 to 6, 2020.

MU implements modular system for A.Y. 2020-2021

As part of Mapúa University’s (MU) Outcome-Based Education (OBE) initiative aimed to help in expanding the students’ opportunities, the University is implementing a modular system for the delivery and grading of courses for Batch 2018 students and the succeeding batches starting on the Academic Year 2020-2021.

Mapúa to offer two learning delivery modes for A.Y. 2020-21

In preparation for both eventualities – the approval or disapproval of face-to-face classes – due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, Mapúa University (MU) will be offering two learning delivery modes, fully online and blended learning, to all incoming and existing students for Academic Year 2020 - 2021.
