Cards finish as top seed in NCAA 99 Round 2
Following their hunt for redemption, the Mapúa Cardinals cemented themselves in school history after ending the last #NCAASeason99 elimination round as the first seed with a 15-3 standing.

Cards land top spot in NCAA 99 Round 1
After establishing dominance inside the court, the Mapúa Cardinals climbed to the top spot with an 8-1 standing during the first #NCAASeason99 elimination round held from September 26 to October 21 at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.
As the red and yellow jerseys prepare to take flight again, here is a look back on how they fared during their impressive run in the first round.
Cheerping Cardinals claim fourth spot in NCAA 98 Cheerleading Competition
Raising their school spirit, the Mapúa Cheerping Cardinals impressed the crowd with a fiery routine to nab fourth place in their comeback in the #NCAASeason98 Cheerleading Competition, last April 30, at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
Tracksters clinch first runner-up in NCAA 98
After a three-year hiatus, the Mapúa Tracksters returned to the scene with record-breaking performances to seal the first runner-up finish with 661.5 points from 13 medals in the #NCAASeason98 Track and Field Championships held last April 19 and 20 at the PhilSports Track and Field Oval.
Lady Cards end NCAA 98 journey as fourth seed
Last March 26, the Mapúa Lady Cardinals ended their #NCAASeason98 journey as the fourth seed, one of the best finishes of the University’s women’s volleyball team yet, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.
The red and gold squad was keen on avenging its opening day loss against the hungry Lyceum of the Philippines University Lady Pirates but came up short in a four-set heartstopper, 18-25, 23-25, 31-29, 25-27. Regardless, the Lady Cards will make it their mission to soar to greater heights next season, taking it one step at a time.
Lady Cards secure Final Four slot, head to stepladder semis
Showing grit and determination, the Mapúa Lady Cardinals proved to be a powerhouse this season as they booked a seat in the Final Four and will face the Lyceum of the Philippines University Lady Pirates on March 26, Sunday. However, before entering the stepladder semis, the home team had to overcome five five-set thrillers, two four-set marathons, and two three-setters in the #NCAASeason98 elimination round.
Lady Cards hunt down first sweep victory against Lady Red Spikers, 3-0
After a series of four-set and five-set matches since the start of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 98, the Mapúa Lady Cardinals made it their mission to finish in three straight sets against the San Beda University Lady Red Spikers, 25-23, 25-19, 26-24, last March 15, at the San Andres Sports Complex.
Lady Cards outlast Lady Knights in five-set heart stopper, 3-2
Recovering from their frustrating first loss, the Mapúa Lady Cardinals joined the winning column after evading the Colegio de San Juan de Letran (CSJL) Lady Knights' attacks in another five-setter, 25-19, 25-16, 14-25, 24-26, 16-14, to seal their first National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 98 win, last February 24, at the San Andres Sports Complex.
MU MVT cruises past LPU MVT to secure first win, 3-0
On their return to the big stage after more than three years, the Mapúa University’s Men's Volleyball Team (MVT) emerged victorious in their opening game for National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 98 with a straight-set quick work of the Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates MVT, 25-12, 25-13, 25-19, last February 21, at the San Andres Complex in Manila.
Mapúa WVT reigns champions, MVT clinches bronze in 1st PUVL
Mapúa University’s volleyball teams bagged podium finishes in #PUVL2022 as both the Mapúa Men’s Volleyball Team and Mapua Lady Cardinals dominated the tournament. Now with pre-season momentum, the Intramuros-based squads approach the #NCAASeason98 volleyball season with a revitalized outlook.
DTC 2022 concludes three-month run with SCEGE sweep
The Mapúa University Council of Presidents, along with the University’s administration and the National Association of Mapúa Alumni Inc., concluded the three-month run of the #DonTomasCup2022 through an awarding ceremony, last January 4, at the Intramuros Campus Gymnasium.

Tankers return fierce for SMP Swim Challenge 2022
In preparation for the upcoming #NCAASeason98 Swimming Tournament that will be held from December 1 to 3, the Mapúa Tankers participated in the Samahang Manlalangoy ng Pilipinas (SMP)’s “The Reunion Swim Challenge 2022 Leg 3” and bagged several medals at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

Cards blitz Heavy Bombers to secure fifth win, 74-49
Last November 2, the Mapúa Cardinals secured their third #NCAASeason98 consecutive victory as they defused the Jose Rizal University (JRU) Heavy Bombers with a 25-point advantage, 74-49, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.
