DTC 2022 concludes three-month run with SCEGE sweep

The Mapúa University Council of Presidents, along with the University’s administration and the National Association of Mapúa Alumni Inc., concluded the three-month run of the #DonTomasCup2022 through an awarding ceremony, last January 4, at the Intramuros Campus Gymnasium.

Cards overwhelm Stags to finish NCAA 98 campaign strong, 75-67

Last November 23, the Mapúa Cardinals ended their #NCAASeason98 journey on a high note after overwhelming the San Sebastian College – Recoletos Golden Stags, 75-67, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

Tankers return fierce for SMP Swim Challenge 2022

In preparation for the upcoming #NCAASeason98 Swimming Tournament that will be held from December 1 to 3, the Mapúa Tankers participated in the Samahang Manlalangoy ng Pilipinas (SMP)’s “The Reunion Swim Challenge 2022 Leg 3” and bagged several medals at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

Cards blitz Heavy Bombers to secure fifth win, 74-49

Last November 2, the Mapúa Cardinals secured their third #NCAASeason98 consecutive victory as they defused the Jose Rizal University (JRU) Heavy Bombers with a 25-point advantage, 74-49, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

Cards refuse to fall prey to hungry Altas, 73-65

Last October 25, the Mapúa Cardinals refused to fall prey to the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) Altas in their second-round encounter and locked in their fourth #NCAASeason98 win, 73-65, at the Filoil EcoOil Center.

Cards double down on Generals, 77-67

After a resurgence in the second half, the Mapúa Cardinals took command of the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals again, 77-67, in their second encounter in the #NCAASeason98, last October 22, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

Mapúa Cardinals Team Captain Warren Bonifacio led his squad to victory in their previous #NCAASeason98 match, but before being one of the basketball team’s core players, he had to withstand some challenges to take flight from the bench to the big league.

Cards’ first conquest keeps Generals at bay, 67-55

Finally ending their string of losses, the Mapúa Cardinals overthrew the Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Generals, 67-55, in their last game in the first round of the National College Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 98 Men’s Basketball Tournament Eliminations, last October 8, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

Lady Cards cage Lady Red Spikers in five-set thriller, 3-2

Bouncing back from their first loss, the Mapúa Lady Cardinals outlasted the San Beda University Lady Red Spikers in a five-set thriller, 23-25, 35-33, 25-22, 21-25, 16-14, and secured their first win in the #ShakeysSuperLeague, last October 2, at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

DTC returns in full force, face-to-face mode

The Council of Presidents (COP), alongside the University’s administration and the National Association of Mapúa Alumni (NAMA) Inc., officially kicked off the #DonTomasCup2022 for the Mapúan community, last September 28, at the Intramuros Campus.

After the opening ceremony, the All-Stars Basketball match between the Mapúa Red Robins and chosen DTC participants as well as the first game for the elimination round of the Men’s Basketball match between the CEGESAURS and EECE Bolts were held.

Lady Cards embark on SSL campaign

Gearing up for another season, the Mapúa Lady Cardinals, along with other teams from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) schools, joined the Shakey’s Super League (SSL), which commenced last September 24 at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

NCAA Season 98: Cardinals pursue the road to greatness

Less than two months since the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) wrapped up its 97th season, the league returns in full force to bring a new series of tournaments as it launches #NCAASeason98 with the theme “Achieve Greatness Everyday” today, September 10, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, hosted by the Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC), still in partnership with GMA Sports.

Mapúa Cardinals join the Marinerong Pilipino Skippers in PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup 2022

In preparation for the upcoming National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 98, eight selected Mapúa Cardinals sailed with the Marinerong Pilipino Skippers in this year’s PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup, finishing the league as the first runner-up against the EcoOil-La Salle Green Archers, last August 31, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Mapúa Cardinals secure 3rd Place in PinoyLiga Cup 2022

With former Red Robin and returning Mapúan Clint Escamis leading the charge, the Mapúa Cardinals placed third in the PinoyLiga Cup 2022: Collegiate Division held from July 27 to August 26.

Lady Cards continue five-setter streak against Lady Generals, 3-2

Last July 9, the Mapúa Lady Cardinals remained undefeated in five-set matches in #NCAASeason97 as they took charge of the Emilio Aguinaldo College Lady Generals, 17-25, 22-25, 25-13, 25-18, 15-8, at the Paco Arena. The Lady Cards ended the season with a 5-4 win-loss record.

Lady Cards lanced by charged Lady Knights, 0-3

Last July 6, the Mapúa Lady Cardinals faced another challenge in the form of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran (CSJL) Lady Knights, 17-25, 21-25, 18-25, and endured their fourth loss in #NCAASeason97 at the Paco Arena.
